There is currently a massive urbanization trend expanding across the globe. The need for new apartments as quick as possible and as cheap as possible is very real. This is however no excuse for sloppy work and most certainly, it’s no excuse for building with methods of the 20th century: we know too well what this means for the environment, as well as for the quality of live for individuals.
We developed a modular housing solution out of massive timber (CLT) panels, which allows transmutation of apartments from one size to the next. At the same time, we go to great lengths to reinforce the feeling of togetherness, community, and shared facilities. We know that homo sapiens is a social animal and we design for homo sapiens’ current and future well being.
