PROJECT INFLATABLE
Can the Miami Marine Stadium be saved?
Project INFLATABLE re-energizes and completely revitalizes Miami Marine Stadium into a major venue for performances while simultaneously creating one of Miami’s newest icons. We believe that the strong visual identity of project INFLATABLE will draw much needed attention to the existing Marine Stadium, but more importantly, be used to establish a connection to the city of Miami itself.

An Modern Icon in Distress
The Miami Marine Stadium is a modern masterpiece designed by Hilario Candela and built in 1963. It has since fallen into dissrepair after years of disregard and vandalism. PINKCLOUD.DK intends to draw attention to this neglected beauty through a design of our own…

The Design Focus
Our design focused on three main agendas. Firstly, no one wants a headache, it must be easy to use + transport. Secondly, to convince skeptical tax payers, it has to be cheap! Lastly, to attract attention to this cause, it must have an unique identity!

Project INFLATABLE!

Helium = Large Span without excessive Structure!
The use of helium allows for easy setup, quick transport, while achieving a massive diameter with as little support as possible! It can also be quickly taken apart and stored as well!
Super Shiny! I can see it from Downtowm Miami!

How the INFLATABLE works
The floating disc itself is perforated to allow for natural light onto the stage creating a unique spatial experience for those below. The large surface area above allows for the installation of PV solar panels generating electricity for the LED lights below.

Miami Marine Stadium – Revitalized
We strongly believe that the design of Project INFLATABLE will serve as the catalyst for the development and revitalization of the Miami Marine Stadium. By building a strong public connection to the existing stadium, project INFLATABLE seeks to provide an exciting and unique experience that will establish itself as the new destination for the people of Miami and beyond.
